Bud Phelps Wildlife Management Area (7 pics) Springtime Changes (5 pics)
Nothing fancy, just a few dirt roads in the middle of the valley and a lot of fields. Good birding, mellow walking. The "Springtime Changes" series of pics shows the Wasatch front gradually turning greener and less snowy during April, May and June.
Cutler Marsh (7 pics)
This area is also referred to as The Oxbow, a twisty section of the Little Bear River. Joan and I were canoeing here when a scary storm came up suddenly. We got outta there.
Dry Canyon

Expedition with the Cache Valley Hikers to an area off Blacksmith Fork Creek Canyon. Gorgeous wooded walk up mountainside switchbacks to a summit with views of the Wellsvilles and the whole length of Cache Valley.

A little pull-in along the Mendon Road, good canoe put-in.

A small canyon in the north end of the valley just before the Idaho border, which I discovered by accident when I was up in Richmond having a burger at the fabulous LD's Cafe.
